About Strong Media Marketing
Why Strong Media Marketing Exists
Strong Media Marketing is a patient-acquisition-systems company for independent health and wellness practices. We started it because most marketing advice sells a tactic before anyone understands the problem.
Diagnosis Before Prescription
Two practices can share the same growth goal and need completely different solutions. One has a visibility problem, another a conversion problem, another a follow-up problem. Selling a tactic before identifying the constraint is how practices end up paying for services that were never going to fix the actual issue.
That’s the same diagnostic approach behind every stage of the Patient Acquisition Pathway – find the real constraint first, then recommend what actually addresses it.
Why This Lens
A Background In Health, Not Just Marketing
Strong Media Marketing was founded by a military veteran with a background in public health and health coaching, in addition to marketing. That combination shapes the diagnostic approach as much as any marketing skill does – understanding how patients actually make decisions about their care, and how a practice actually runs day to day.
A Personal Note
Veteran To Veteran
I’m a veteran, and I’ve heard “thank you for your service” more times than I can count. I’ve come to think it says the wrong thing. For those who went to war, sacrifice is closer to the truth – service asks you to give something, and sometimes it doesn’t give it back.
What’s harder to explain is what comes after. Overseas, you have people who would die for you and a mission bigger than yourself. Then you come home, and both of those things are gone. A lot of us spend years looking for that same sense of purpose and never quite find it again.
I started Strong Media Marketing because I never stopped wanting to serve – I just needed a new way to do it. My background is in public health and health coaching, and this business is how I keep helping people: by helping the small practices that serve their communities reach the people who need them. It isn’t combat, and I won’t pretend it’s the same. But it’s real, and it’s mine, and it matters.
If you’re a veteran still looking for that sense of mission, I see you – it doesn’t have to be gone for good. And if you’ve never served, maybe try “thank you for your sacrifice” next time. It says more of what’s true.
